iPad and EFB mounts
A suction kit, a yoke kit, and a kneeboard holder solve different problems. The numbers below are the ones printed on the product page, so a “complete” price only counts parts that page actually prices.
What pilots argue about: On r/flying, one pilot wrote that the PIVOT case alone is not worth it, and that the case plus suction, yoke, and kneeboard is the reason to buy it. On a C172 suction-or-yoke thread, a pilot called the RAM X-Grip with a medium arm and suction cup “the way for years.” The same discussions include a PIVOT spring that broke, and a RAM yoke ball described as hollow and prone to play.

Choose the A35A when the tablet is a mini 6 or mini A17 Pro and you want the case to move between yoke and glass. Vs RAM-B-166-UN9U: RAM is $161.49 with the cradle included, and it lists 9–11" iPads, not this mini. Vs the Sporty's organizer: that kneeboard is $34.95 and stays on your leg.

Clamp range is printed: 0.625–1.25". That is narrower than MyGoFlight’s 5/8–1.5" clamp and narrower than PIVOT’s large yoke (2.0–3.0")
